Day 1 / Module 2

Who are my people? My Ideal Customer Audience Avatar.

Knowing exactly WHO you're speaking to will ensure you're reaching the right audience, on the right platforms, at the right time, with the right message, to grow your community.

Module 2 Highlights:

  • Understand who your ICA is so that you are targeted with your message. You'll work through an exercise that helps you get to know your ideal customer more intimately so that her interests and her challenges are at the heart of your content. 
  • Your ICA’s Pain Points and How You Will Solve Them: You’ll work through exercises that will pinpoint what is keeping your ICA up at night and the solutions she seeks (what is her goal) to ensure you’re uniquely positioned to engage her and be the solution she seeks. 
  • Where Is Your ICA? The Platforms. Knowing all you do about your ICA, you'll know the best place to reach her on social media; the platform(s) she's on. 
  • Understanding Your ICA’s Journey. You'll be able to describe your ICA confidently, ensuring you're there throughout her journey. 
Day 2 / Module 3

A Competitive Analysis: Validating Your Niche and Your Offer. 

Everything you do on social media is not because of what you "think" your ideal customer needs. You must validate that your offer is what your ideal customer needs and why.

Through research you'll uncover and validate the market you serve (your niche) and your offer (solution), ensuring your ideal customer will be more receptive to who you are, what you do and why; the difference between you as an expert vs. you as a market generalist. 

Module 3 Highlights:

  • What is a Niche and why is it important? You’ll come to understand why having a niche will lead to success more quickly, by positioning you as an expert in your category. 
  • What is a Competitive Analysis?  Why you need to do a competitive analysis, why it’s important; to validate your profitability. 
  • How to Conduct a Competitive Analysis: You’ll learn what the most important research platforms are to conduct your own competitive analysis. Who you might think are your competitors may not be! 
  • What are questions your Ideal Customer is asking? You’ll also learn how to search for the questions your ideal customer is asking, so that you can be there to answer them, positioning you as the expert. 
  • Competitors. The Landscape. Who is addressing their questions? Knowing what your ICA is searching for, how are your competitors meeting this demand on social media? This represents your opportunity.
  • The Opportunity. How will you communicate; how will you be different? You have competitors who offer similar services or products, so how can you appeal to your ICA in a way that is separate from these businesses, so that your ICA finds value in what you’re offering, trusts you and buys from you? 
  • Your Social Media Profiles. Using your Niche Statement, you will optimize your social media profiles to reflect your niche and your offer (who you are, who you serve and why), so that when your ICA discovers you, she will immediately convert to a follower when she reads your bio/profile/page.
Day 3 / Module 4

Your Brand: Your Voice and Your Message. 

No one is you and no one can do what you do better than you!

It’s your brand that will capture someone’s attention, what sets you apart and what’s memorable. By getting clear on who you are, and aligning your message with your audience, taking your ideal customer from where she is to where she wants to be, you’ll be confident in communicating your message, bring clarity to your ICA and a receptiveness to your message. 

Module 4 Highlights:

  • What do you want to be known for? We struggle to define our brand, and it’s because we don’t know how to describe what we want to be known for, and why. In other words, your voice. You will work through an exercise that will establish the foundational pillars of your brand, by knowing “what I want to be known for”. 
  • Your Ideal Customer’s Journey. You’ll work through an exercise that will ensure you’re meeting her where she’s at and taking her to where she wants to be. You will get to know her intimately by knowing how she’s feeling throughout her journey.
  • Your Brand Essence/Your Brand Pillars. Knowing how your ICA is feeling throughout her journey, you will choose the words that best represent the voice and tone of your brand so that when she does discover you, she connects with you on a personal and emotional level. 
Day 4 / Module 5

The Content Journey with Storytelling: Building the Know, Like and Trust Factors. 

Storytelling is proven to connect with people on an emotional, human level. It creates an opportunity to discover shared interests, which in turn makes you relevant to your ideal customer. It’s the only way to work through the content journey of know, like and trust, breaking down barriers to your business. 

And when you know your story, you’ll know exactly what to say and how to say it. You’ll no longer be searching for a topic to write about in your next social media post.

Module 5 Highlights:

  • Content is the key to building community: capturing followers, turning followers into fans and fans into a loyal community. You’ll learn to tell your story so that she gets to know you, likes you and trusts you; the content journey.
